Senior Residential Support Worker

Job description

PositionSenior Residential Support Worker at a registered residential children's home (2‐bed home) located in Romford/Wickford, Essex. The role supports children with learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in a trauma‐informed, nurturing environment.

ResponsibilitiesSupport children with learning disabilities and ASD by providing consistent, empathetic care within a trauma‐informed framework. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes for the children in care.

Qualifications

Experience working with children with learning disabilities and ASD is essential.

Formal qualifications in Social Care, Children's Services, or similar fields are valued.

Deep passion for working with children and a commitment to providing consistent, empathetic care.

Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and trauma‐informed approaches.

Team player who collaborates with colleagues to create the best outcomes for the children.

Positive, motivated, and enthusiastic individual driven by making a difference and providing the best care.
