Job Requirements

Must be able to work more than 24 hours a week.

Must be a driver with a full UK driving licence.

Minimum 6 months experience in healthcare.

Role OverviewProvide support and transportation for a gentleman with a spinal injury who uses a wheelchair. The client enjoys spending time in the community, sports and outdoor activities. The client's personal vehicle may be used for travel. Training will be provided.

Job DetailsFull‐time and part‐time roles available.

Pay rate: £13.00 – £16.00 per hour.

Schedule: 12‐hour shifts available Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday.

What HFH offers

Typical client base requires ongoing 24‐hour care and benefits from continuity with a small core team of regular care staff.

Specialist carers work with one client per shift and do not travel between multiple homes. The average shift is 12 hours.

We will offer work to meet your availability; the average carer works three shifts (36 hours) per week and earns approximately £500 – £555 per week.

Three days a week work equates to an average annual income between £26,200 and £28,950.

All staff are employed directly and managed via PAYE, protecting against IR35 issues and eliminating the need for third‐party companies or self‐employment.

Rates include holiday pay, which is accumulated per hour worked.
