Overview Are you a Psychology Graduate looking to gain valuable, hands-on experience supporting young people in education? A well-regarded secondary school in Barnet, rated Good by Ofsted, is seeking a committed and compassionate Psychology Graduate to join their team from September for a minimum of one academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering careers in educational psychology, clinical psychology, or teaching.Role As a Psychology Graduate, you will support pupils across the school with a wide range of SEND, including autism, ADHD, SEMH needs and hearing impairments, among others. You will work both one-to-one and with small groups, helping pupils to access learning, build confidence, and develop positive behaviours within a supportive school environment.Responsibilities Support pupils with a diverse range of SEND, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and sensory needs such as hearing impairmentsProvide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual learning needsWork closely with teachers and the SENDCo to implement effective support strategiesWhat the School Offers A supportive and experienced SEND departmentOpportunities to work alongside educational psychologists and external specialistsOngoing training and professional developmentA strong foundation for careers in psychology, education, or mental healthRequirements A degree in Psychology (or a closely related subject)A genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA patient, proactive, and empathetic approachSalary & Commitment £475+ PAYE per week (term-time only)Full-time role, Monday to FridayMinimum commitment: September start, full academic yearApplication If you are a motivated Psychology Graduate eager to gain meaningful experience and make a real difference, this role in Barnet is an excellent opportunity.
