Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (35 hours per week)

Jones Whyte Law Ltd is recruiting Trainee Solicitors to join us from September 2026, with positions available across various practice areas. We are specifically seeking:

A Trainee for our Family team based in our Edinburgh office

Various Trainee positions across our Personal Injury (Clinical Negligence, Fatal & Serious Injury, Group Action, RPCI), Dispute Resolution, Private Client (Estate Planning, Trust Management & Bereavement) teams based in our Glasgow office

Key Responsibilities

Providing continued communication throughout the process

Working with the online case management system, keeping records up to date

Dealing with client enquiries both face to face and via telephone

Dealing with emails to and from clients and other 3rd parties

Conducting legal research

Attending training sessions and internal events
