Job description

This role as a Care Assistant involves providing personal care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them to maintain their independence and comfort.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care, everyday tasks, and provide comfort and reassurance to individuals in your care.

Support people to remain independent and comfortable in their own homes.

Position restricted to female applicants only as a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, due to the nature of providing personal care to women, where it is necessary to preserve their dignity and privacy.

Up to £13.50 per hour and paid mileage 32p per mile.

Requirements

Full UK driving licence required.

Non-UK nationals must have the right to work in the UK with at least 12 months left on their visa; sponsorship is not available.

No prior experience required; all you need is kindness. Full, free training will be provided, and career growth is supported up to QCF Level 5.

Qualifications

No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. A full UK driving licence is required.

Disclosure and Barring Service CheckThe role is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. A submission for Disclosure will be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
