Care Assistant – Priory Court Care Home, StamfordAt Avery Healthcare we support the people who care for residents, enabling them to deliver compassionate, high‐quality care. As a Care Assistant you will provide personal care, ensure continuity of services, and help maintain a respectful and dignified environment for all residents.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living tasks, encouraging independence and maintaining dignity.

Identify and understand clinical risk areas (weight loss, pressure sores, fall risk, infection signs) and promptly alert the team of any concerns.

Act courteously towards residents and visitors, upholding each resident's individuality and dignity.

Implement safe systems of work across all duties and follow best practice guidelines.

Contribute fully to the care team to ensure seamless continuity of services.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A proactive, respectful, and efficient approach to work, following reasonable instructions from team members.

Adaptable and flexible, able to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.

Required Conditions

DBS Disclosure check – the cost is covered by Avery Healthcare.

Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Person Specification / Qualifications

Experience is not required; we provide a thorough induction and training programme to build confidence in the role.
