Job OverviewAgincare UK is offering a permanent Care Assistant role at HMP Lewes, located in Eastbourne. The position supports the local community within a supportive and dynamic environment that offers career growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support to residents as required.

Administer medication, perform light domestic duties, prepare meals and snacks.

Assist with shopping and offer companionship.

Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.

Eligibility & Requirements

Minimum of 12 months on your right to work.

Valid driving licence; use of own car required.

Availability for full- or part-time hours.

Good people skills, empathy, and a positive team‐working ethos.

Benefits & Compensation

£13.15 per hour Monday–Friday, £14.15 per hour Saturday–Sunday.

Mileage at 32p per mile.

Refer a Friend scheme – up to £1,000.

Fully‐funded training up to QCF Level 5.
