Isle Of Wight NHS Trust are recruiting for an experienced Healthcare Support Worker to join their highly skilled team.

The Trust was established in April 2012 as the only fully integrated provider of health services to an isolated offshore population of 140,000.

Job PurposeTo work flexibly across care services.To support registered nursing staff in the provision high quality standards of clinical care to the patients.To adhere to all Isle of Wight NHS Trust Policies, Protocols, Procedures and guidelines.

Main DutiesWork in collaboration with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe and compassionate care and support.To deliver direct care, treatment and emotional support for patients as required in line with the IOW NHS Trusts protocols/policies/procedures/guidelines.To contribute to the assessment, implementation and monitoring of patients, identifying physical and/or psychological problems and liaising with the appropriate member of the multi-disciplinary team.To assist in the day to day organisation of the service, carrying out duties as delegated by the Ward/Department Sister/Charge Nurse/Manager or delegated Deputy.Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.Maintain high quality standards of care in an environment which promotes equality and sensitivity for all individuals.
