Industrial PhD: Aeroengine CFD & ML with Industry Placement

Job description

The University of Nottingham is offering a fully funded Industrial Doctoral Landscape Award in partnership with Rolls-Royce for research on aeroengine oil systems using multiphase CFD. Candidates should possess, or expect to gain, a high 2:1 (preferably 1st class) honours degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, alongside strong skills in numerical methods and teamwork. The studentship covers UK home tuition fees and provides a tax-free stipend of up to £25,000 annually for 4 years. Start date is 1 October 2026.#J-18808-Ljbffr
