About the RoleWe are looking to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker for our client in the North West that specialises in providing high‐quality support to individuals with complex needs. This role will involve supporting an individual with a Learning Disability and Autism diagnosis that also has Mental Health needs, within a supported living environment in Rossendale. It is a hands‐on role that requires patience, understanding, and experience working with adults with complex needs, including supporting service users with mental health conditions. Our client requires a candidate who is flexible to work a variety of shift patterns, including day shift and night shift, and who can work alternate weekends on a rota basis alongside other members of the team.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high‐quality, person‐centred care to service users with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health needs.

Support daily living activities, promoting independence and choice.

Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the wider team.

Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure the safety and wellbeing of service users at all times.

Administer and record medication safely.

Assist individuals with domestic tasks and daily living.

Build and maintain positive relationships with service users and their families.

Requirements

Previous experience supporting individuals with Mental Health conditions, ideally within a supported living or residential environment.

Ability to work 12‐hour shifts on a full‐time basis, including alternating weekends.

Flexible to work both day and night shifts.

Positive, empathetic, and flexible approach to care and support.
