Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum (depending on experience) with commission opportunities.

Hours: Full-time (Mon–Fri) working across our practices in Cumbria at the following locations; Carnforth, Kirkby Stephen, Grange over sands, Appleby in Westmorland

About the RoleAs a Hearing Care Assistant, you'll be an integral part of our practice, supporting private hearing services with a balance of clinical excellence and operational flair.

Clinical Duties

Carry out otoscopy and Tympa-based assessments

Deliver Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA) screenings

Conduct hearing aid reviews and routine maintenance

Perform ear wax removal (microsuction, irrigation & manual)

Take aural impressions

Support patients with empathy and clear communication

Work under the guidance of an HCPC-registered Hearing Aid Dispenser

Practice Engagement & Development

Assist with team training and cross-referrals

Build partnerships with local GPs, pharmacies & communities

Help manage appointment scheduling to maximise the HAD's time

Operational Responsibilities

Maintain high standards in line with healthcare regulations

Ensure Health & Safety compliance

Represent THCP with professionalism in both appearance and conduct

What You'll Need

Qualified Hearing Care Assistant

Previous experience working in a customer facing environment and in a healthcare setting

GCSEs in English, Maths and Science (grade C or higher)

A full UK driving license and the ability to travel between locations

Eligibility to work in the UK, and availability for the specified days
