About the roleWe are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Care Assistant at South Lodge Care Home in Leicester to support residents by delivering high standards of personal care. Your role will involve assisting with personal hygiene, recognising and escalating clinical risks, and maintaining a safe, respectful environment.

Shift details3 shifts per week. Full‐time positions available.

Job responsibilities

Assist residents with all personal hygiene care, ensuring independence, dignity and respect.

Recognise and understand clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls and signs of infections, and raise concerns promptly.

Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting their dignity and individuality.

Practice safe systems of work across a range of tasks.

Qualifications & experience

Experience is not required – a thorough induction and training programme is provided.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Demonstrate initiative, be respectful, adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.

Efficient worker able to follow reasonable instructions from other team members.

Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
