We are looking for compassionate, reliable and professional Care Assistants to join our team. As a Care Assistant you will provide person-centred care, support daily living activities and build meaningful relationships with clients to promote independence and wellbeing.Why join us? Competitive pay rates plus mileage allowancePerformance‐related bonuses and recognition schemes20 days holiday + Bank Holidays (pro rata) with opportunities to increase with serviceContinuous training and clear career progression pathwaysPension scheme and employee wellbeing supportBe part of a supportive, values‐driven team focused on high quality, person‐centred careMain duties and responsibilities Provide safe, respectful and compassionate personal care to clients in their own homes, following agreed care plansSupport with daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, toileting, continence care and mobility assistanceAssist with medication administration where trained and permitted, and follow medication proceduresPrepare and support mealtimes, and assist with dietary needs and hydrationSupport clients to maintain independence, dignity and social inclusionObserve, report and record changes in client wellbeing, completing accurate notes and records in line with company policyFollow health and safety guidance, infection control procedures and safeguarding protocols at all timesWork collaboratively with the care team, relatives and healthcare professionals to deliver joined‐up careWhat we are looking for Previous experience in a care role is desirable but not essential; full training and induction will be providedCompassionate, reliable and person‐centred approach to careGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to follow care plans and complete accurate recordsWillingness to undertake training and gain relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE/NVQ/Adult Care Level 2 or 3)Right to work in the UKAble to travel to client homes; a driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred but not essentialEnhanced DBS check (we can support with application if required)Training and development Comprehensive induction and mandatory training including safeguarding, moving & handling, medication and infection controlOngoing professional development and access to qualifications to support career progressionRegular supervision and support from experienced managers and a friendly team cultureEqual opportunities Right at Home is an equal opportunities employer.
