Job description

We have a new opportunity to work as a Rapid Response Care Worker. For this role you must be a driver with a full, clean driving license and access to own vehicle.

We are currently offering a welcome bonus of £250 for drivers who are successful and start with the company.

What to expectAs a Rapid Response Care Worker, you will be covering the Chester/Ellesmere Port/Neston & Malpas area. The successful candidate will be required to attend calls on a last‐minute basis due to sickness or urgent referrals. You will be responsible for providing short‐term care to help customers get back on their feet after returning home from hospital. It helps customers rebuild confidence in day‐to‐day tasks and return to a normal independent life.

Smiling is essential as it will brighten each Service User's day, and you should have a good ear to listen to their stories.

As a driver you will receive a pay enhancement to cover additional costs.

You will provide personal care and assist with personal hygiene and dressing to get them ready for the day ahead.

Each day is varied, so you'll need to think on your feet while filling in for regular teams, delivering the same high standard of care.

Being able to make a good cuppa is essential, though cooking is not required.

We offer a variety of shifts, including morning, full days, and afternoon/evening. Let us know your availability and we'll try to accommodate you.

Support is provided 7 days a week, so alternate weekend working is required.
