About the Role As a Care Assistant at Avon Valley Care Home you will deliver high‐standard personal care, supporting residents' dignity and independence while contributing fully to the care team.Key Responsibilities Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily care tasks, ensuring dignity and respect.Recognise and understand clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls risk, and infection signs, escalating risks promptly.Respond courteously to residents and visitors, respecting their individuality.Practice safe systems of work across all tasks.Carry out reasonable instructions from team members and adapt to changing duties.Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings as required.About You We want someone who lives our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable behaviour.Experience is not required; we offer induction and training.Qualifications & Skills Effective verbal and written communication.Initiative and respect for residents and colleagues.Efficient work ethic, able to follow instructions.Adaptability and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.Requirements DBS disclosure check – cost covered by employer.Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.This advert may be withdrawn prior to the advertised deadline depending on the volume of applications received and business needs.
