Make a difference every day and give back to your communityThe Bank Care Assistant role is based at Holmes House in South Wigston, Leicestershire. We support 78 residents with a range of learning disabilities, sensory impairments and mental health conditions, providing dignified support while ensuring patience and respect.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing and bedtime routines.

Support residents to dine at mealtimes to maintain good nutrition and hydration.

Encourage safe mobilisation with aid and specialist equipment.

Provide companionship and accompany residents on social outings or appointments.

Maintain accurate, timely written records and complete documentation.

Work as part of a multi‐disciplinary team, engaging with other care professionals to promote health and well‐being.

Welcome family members and assist with enquiries.

RequirementsPrior experience as a Care Assistant or support worker is desirable but not essential as full training is provided. Candidates should be patient, understanding, respectful, and have a genuine caring nature. Knowledge of dementia is beneficial.
