Candidates will work alongside an experienced and specialist workforce, providing optimal care for our patients.Main duties Our Bank Healthcare Support Worker will support a variety of Adult wards and departments as part of a multi‐disciplinary team. We deliver a full range of district hospital services in a variety of locations.Person specification Training & qualifications Literacy level 1 or equivalent (GCSE D‐G, 3‐6)Numeracy level 1 or equivalent (GCSE D‐G, 3‐6)The Care CertificateNVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Health or Health and Social Care, or working towards an awardESOL level 2 or equivalent (if English not first language)Experience & knowledge Experience in a public facing/customer care role or environmentA minimum of 12 months care experiencePrevious experience in a Health/Health and Social Care rolePrevious NHS experience / Understanding of NHS/Social care systemsSkills & ability Good written and verbal communication in EnglishDisclosure and Barring Service Check This role is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
