Full-Time Teaching Assistant - EYFS/SEN SupportStart day- June 2026

We are looking for a dedicated and committed Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide support for a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within an Early Years setting.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm (30-minute lunch break)Pay: £14.25 per hour

The role:You will be supporting a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and helping them access learning and daily activities within the school environment. This is a rewarding role requiring patience, consistency, and a caring approach.

Requirements:

A Teaching Assistant qualification is essentialPrevious experience working within EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) is essentialExperience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASD, is requiredComfortable carrying out personal care as part of the rolePatient, nurturing, and able to build positive relationshipsReliable and committed, with a willingness to provide consistent support for the childA genuine passion for supporting children's development and wellbeingWe are looking for someone who can make a long-term commitment and provide a stable, supportive presence for the child and wider school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
