Overview Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a dedicated and nurturing EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Kings Heath on a full-time basis from September 2026.Opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage, particularly pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).The school is looking for someone patient, caring, and proactive, with a genuine passion for helping children thrive both academically and socially.Role Details Full-time, long-term roleSeptember 2026 startSchool hours, Monday to Friday (Term time only)Competitive daily pay, depending on experienceIdeal Candidate A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Supporting Teaching and LearningExperience working within EYFSPrevious experience supporting children with SENDA nurturing, patient and proactive approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsAn enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for oneReferences covering the last 24 monthsClosing This is a great opportunity to join a supportive school and make a real difference to children in the early stages of their education.
