We are currently seeking a motivated 9-month Placement Intern Analyst to join our Corporate Development team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate finance and development within an agile, independent, and diverse advisory environment.
As a Placement Intern Analyst, you will support the Corporate Development team in financial analysis, market research, and the preparation of strategic materials that support Interpaths inorganic growth initiatives. You will work closely with seasoned professionals, gaining exposure to various aspects of deal execution and corporate strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Corporate Development team across the end-to-end acquisition cycle, from target sourcing and market research through diligence, sign, close and announcement, as well as post-close integration.
Specifically:
Assist in the preparation of financial models, valuation analyses, and strategic assessmentsConduct market and sector research to identify trends and opportunitiesHelp develop marketing pitchbooks and corporate presentationsSupport due diligence processes and documentationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client solutionsMaintain organized databases and project documentationActively learn and contribute to the Corporate Development team's goals

Requirements
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related fieldStrong analytical and quantitative skills, with a keen interest in corporate finance and developmentProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentStrong attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards learningAvailability for a 9-month placement period
