We're hiring a Tour Guide & Wine Ambassador (5-month fixed term contract) to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering exceptional visitor experiences, bringing the story of Bolney Wine Estate to life, and helping to drive guest engagement, on-site sales, and Wine Club growth.At Bolney Wine Estate, we showcase the very best of English wine, warm hospitality, and the beauty of our Sussex estate. Our Tours team is at the heart of this experience, creating memorable, engaging visits that connect guests to our history, winemaking processes, and the wider English wine industry.In this role, you'll provide a personalised welcome to every guest, delivering engaging tours, promoting our products and Wine Club, and ensuring each visitor leaves feeling inspired, valued, and connected to the Bolney brand.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has a passion for storytelling, and thrives in a customer-facing, fast-paced environment.Salary: Between £8 and £12.99 hourLocation: SussexWhat you'll be doing:Deliver engaging and informative tours covering Bolney's history, production processes, and the English wine industryCreate a warm, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere for all guestsProvide excellent hosting and customer service throughout the visitor experiencePromote the Wine Club confidently and encourage guest sign-upsPromote tour-specific offers and support on-site product salesHandle transactions accurately and support retail operationsIdentify sales trends and opportunities, sharing insights with the Tours LeadSupport smooth day-to-day tour operations and visitor flowWhat we're looking for:A warm, friendly, and professional mannerStrong presentation, communication, and teamwork skillsConfidence in speaking to groups and delivering engaging experiencesAbility to remain calm and organised during busy periodsFlexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and event daysA genuine interest in wine and willingness to learnRight to work in the UKAbility to travel to a rural locationA proactive, positive attitude and willingness to get stuck inWhat we offer:25 days annual leave (FTE) + birthday day off + public holidaysEnhanced company pension contributionsEnhanced maternity pay (13 weeks full pay)Paternity pay (2 weeks full pay)EV salary sacrifice schemeThis contract has an initial contract length of 5 months, and you will be requred to work evenings & weekends.We welcome applications from candidates who do not meet 100% of the requirements.
