As a Finance Manager, you'll be part of Amazon MGM's theatrical expansion, partnering directly with distribution and marketing teams to drive real strategic financial decisions that support our films in international markets.

Key job responsibilitiesFinancial Strategy & Collaboration

Drive strategic financial planning and analysis for international marketing campaigns, ensuring optimal ROI and budget allocation across territories

Collaborate with territory leads and distribution teams to establish comprehensive budgets and forecasts for theatrical releases

Provide high-judgment financial guidance to support critical business decisions and remove operational blockers

Work closely with global colleagues to drive strategic initiatives and align local market insights with worldwide financial objectives

Lead cross-functional initiatives to align local strategies with global objectives

Strategic Financial Analysis

Own end-to-end financial reporting for your territory, delivering real-time business performance insights that drive decision-making

Build and maintain sophisticated financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning across multiple film releases

Develop complex ROI models and investment analysis frameworks to evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness

Conduct comprehensive variance analysis and provide strategic recommendations based on market performance and competitive landscape

Ensure data integrity across financial systems and optimize reporting processes for scalability

Process Innovation & Leadership

Design and implement scalable financial processes for theatrical operations, building frameworks that can expand globally

Mentor local teams on financial processes and serve as the finance subject matter expert for your territory

Collaborate with global teams to standardize processes

A day in the life: You'll dive into performance insights from your territory's latest theatrical releases, analyzing box office trends and audience engagement. Your role involves partnering with territory leaders on budget planning and investment decisions that directly influence how audiences experience our content. You'll work closely with global colleagues to build scalable processes and share best practices across markets. Throughout your day, you'll coordinate with teams across different time zones, contributing to the exciting challenge of establishing Amazon MGM's theatrical presence worldwide and bringing world‐class storytelling to international audiences.

Our team is focused on bringing innovation with the resources and scale of Amazon, creating an environment where your contributions directly impact how audiences worldwide experience our content.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)

Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)

Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Experience communicating results to senior leadership

Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast‐paced, deadline‐driven environment

8+ years of finance or related analytical field experience, with demonstrated expertise in FP&A/Strategic finance

Preferred Qualifications

MBA, or CPA

Experience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as Quick Sight / Tableau / Power BI or other BI packages

Experience working with large‐scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards), or experience working with large‐scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MS Power Query, Python)

Experience in the entertainment industry

Experience in international or multi‐territory finance operations, particularly in entertainment, media, or content distribution
