Market Research Interviewer - Part Time - Lancaster Department: Field InterviewersEmployment Type: Part TimeLocation: LancasterCompensation: £15.12 / hourDescription What you'll do You'll visit people in their homes to carry out vital research interviews on important topics such as health, housing and transport. Using a tablet or laptop, you'll guide conversations that capture real experiences of daily life in Britain.This is not a desk job. You'll be out in your community, knocking on doors. People receive a letter beforehand, but they're not always expecting you. Some won't answer. Others will say no. That's completely normal and part of the role. When someone says yes and shares their story, you'll know you've helped create change that improves people's lives.What you'll earn £20-£30 per interview (typically)Admin fees and holiday pay (12.1%)Travel time at £4.68/hour (most projects)Mileage at 36p per mile (up to 10,000 miles)£250 bonus after launch, then £250 more at two and four monthsAverage hourly rate: £15.12 (including holiday pay). Experienced interviewers earn more.What you'll need Essential:Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a carClass 1 Business insuranceRight to work in the UKWillingness to complete a DBS checkReliable home broadbandLaptop or tablet with cameraComfortable using basic technologyAt least 18 hours available per weekFlexibility for weekdays, evenings and weekendsStrong verbal and written EnglishPersonal qualities:Good at talking to peopleFriendly and professionalResilient and confidentSelf motivated and independentGood time management and prioritising skillsWho this suits This role is ideal if you've worked in retail, hospitality, admin, driving, sales or any customer facing role.
