Credit Contoller (Part Time)

Job description

Location: Perry Barr, Birmingham

Pay: £14.42 per hour

Hours: Wednesday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm

Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting on behalf of a well‐established business for an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team. This is a steady, hands‐on role where you'll take ownership of customer accounts, support healthy cash flow, and build strong working relationships with customers and internal teams.

Credit Controller (Part‐time)What you'll be doing

Managing customer credit accounts and ensuring payments are received on time

Chasing overdue invoices by phone, email, and letter in a professional way

Resolving invoice queries quickly to avoid payment delays

Setting up new customer accounts and carrying out credit checks

Reviewing credit limits and highlighting potential credit risks

Preparing aged debtor reports and supporting month‐end processes

What we're looking for

Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable

Confident communication and negotiation skills

Strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills

Comfortable working to deadlines in a busy environment

Confident using Excel and accounting or ERP systems
