Transporter / HGV2 Driver

Job description

Due to continued expansion within the Listers Group we are now seeking a Transporter Driver to deliver our new vehicles Nationwide.

Description We seek Category C (HGV2) drivers with tachograph experience (digital card holders are preferred).

The role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Delivering vehicles to customers homes or work premises and ensuring the completion of all relevant paperwork.

Providing a professional and courteous hand-over to the customer.

Receive and receipt for the collection of payments from customers where required.

Collection of vehicles from Motor dealers around the Country.

What we're looking for: This role would ideally suit someone who has previously worked as a Driver, Transporter or HGV2 Driver ideally within a dealership environment.

A reliable and well presented individual with a professional attitude.

Someone confident in their ability to deal with customers face to face.

Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Good geographical knowledge.

A competent and confident driver.

Excellent customer service skills.

Your typical hours of work will be Monday to Friday between 7:30am 4:30pm but a degree of flexibility is required.
