Health Care Assistant | The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Employer:The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation TrustLocation:Birmingham, B31 2APPay:Contract Type:PermanentHours:Full timeDisability Confident:YesClosing Date:10/06/2026About this job Role Overview We are seeking a compassionate and organised Healthcare Assistant to join our Pre-Operative Assessment team.In this role, you will support patients preparing for surgery by assisting with clinical observations, documentation, and patient preparation, ensuring they are safely and thoroughly assessed prior to their procedure.Working closely with registered nurses and clinicians, you will help ensure patients are medically optimised, well-informed, and supported throughout their pre-operative journey.Successful candidates will be appointed at Band 2 and will progress to Band 3 upon successful completion of the required training and competencies.Candidates who have already completed the relevant training and can demonstrate the required competencies may be appointed directly at Band3.
