Salary: £16 – £22 per hour (£31,200 – £42,900 per annum equivalent, based on a 37.5-hour week)Job Type: Full-Time (Hybrid)Reporting To: Senior UX Designer (Client Side)About the OpportunityVita CV is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a Glasgow-based digital business growing its design team. We are looking to appoint a Junior UX Designer on a full-time, hybrid basis. This is suited to designers in the early stage of their UX career who want to develop within an established product team.About the RoleThe Junior UX Designer will support the wider UX team across user research, wireframing, prototyping, and design QA, contributing to ongoing product improvements alongside more senior designers.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport user research activities including interviews and usability testingProduce wireframes, prototypes, and UI explorations in FigmaContribute to the maintenance of the client's design systemCollaborate with senior designers, product, and engineering teamsCarry out design QA on developed features before releaseHelp document research findings and design decisionsTake direction well and incorporate feedback into iterationsWhat We're Looking For1–2 years of experience in a UX, UI, or product design roleA portfolio demonstrating user-centred design thinkingComfortable with Figma and modern design toolsGood understanding of UX fundamentals and research methodsStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAble to attend the Glasgow office for agreed hybrid working daysA stable home internet connection and a suitable workspace for remote daysDesirable (Nice to Have)Exposure to accessibility standards or inclusive design practicesExperience working alongside product and engineering teamsWhat This Role OffersHybrid working pattern combining remote and Glasgow office daysFull-time stable role with mentorship from senior designersOpportunity to develop end-to-end product design skillsCollaborative product environment with clear design processesHow to ApplyIf this role aligns with your experience and working style, please submit your CV through this LinkedIn listing.
