Previous experience in supporting executives or lawyers and managing complex diaries is essential. The role requires exceptional multitasking abilities, strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail.RESPONSIBILITIESSupporting MDs and their teamsMaintaining detailed calendars and prioritising meeting requestsProviding legal spend management support and proactively managing legal billing for the teamsBook travel arrangements (cars, international flights, accommodation and visas)Expense management, ensuring expenses are processed in a timely fashionCoordinating internal meetings with senior leaders and high-level stakeholders at the firm and forming good relationships with Executive Admins throughout the firmImplementing divisional policies and providing guidance to their teamsMaintaining a strong understanding of firm policies to allow handling of certain issues independentlyResponsible for participating in general administrative duties and taking on ad-hoc requests as requiredSKILLS3+ years of Admin Assistant experienceRequires excellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookStrong organisational skills, coupled with great attention to detailAbility to solve problems quickly and efficientlySelf-starter with excellent anticipation skills; problem solving; follow up and judgmentComfortable working with people at all organizational levelsAbility to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline driven environmentMust be able to prioritize a variety of time-sensitive tasksTeam player with a positive attitudeHighest degree of integrity, professionalism, diplomacy and discretion required with the ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential information with a high degree of integrity and confidentialityABOUT GOLDMAN SACHSAt Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
