What the day will look likeOnce fully trained up in your new role your responsibilities will include:

Define marketing strategy (specific to placement)

Review Submission

Lead quote broking / Follow market broking

Present terms to client / network

Firm Order broking (Ebix / wet stamps / email)

Record broking activity in market sheetsReview draft / final MRC

Send Cover confirmation

Provide benchmarking and placement advice to clientsClient meetings

Respond to A/C queries

Establish and manage pipeline

Market Relationship Management

How this opportunity is differentThe Aon International Casualty team is recognised in the market as being best in class within the sector and is known for its dynamic and innovative nature. The team currently includes specialist brokers, inclusive of General Liability and Environmental Liability plus a dedicated Client Service Team.

Our book of business has a global footprint offering tailored programs to all clients other than those 100% domiciled in the UK or US, our remit of Clients consists of Manufacturing, Municipal, Power, Mining, O&G and Construction alongside a host of other niche areas. We encourage all brokers to be involved across the whole portfolio rather than to fully specialise which in turn promotes growth, development and elevated career paths.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

A minimum of 12 months experience in a team based, client/stakeholder focused position

Effective communication and presentation skills

Ability to utilise evolutionary IT systems to efficiently deliver client service

Experience of managing effective client/stakeholder relationships

Ability to interpret and use data optimally

Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
