Junior Instructional Designer

Job description

This role focuses on designing and delivering impactful learning solutions for a large-scale manufacturing environment, supporting the rollout of a new Learning Management System (LMS). The successful candidate will develop structured learning pathways for critical operational roles, create a comprehensive library of video, how-to, and e-learning content, and ensure the LMS is optimized for usability and engagement. Collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders will be essential to ensure all training materials are practical, clear, and aligned with operational needs. The position also involves establishing scalable content templates and standards to support future growth and consistency across training initiatives.

Deliverables

Develop structured learning pathways for key manufacturing roles

Create and curate a robust library of video, how-to, and e-learning content

Design and implement scalable content templates and standards for ongoing training needs

Optimize the LMS for user engagement, accessibility, and ease of navigation

Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and operational relevance

Gather feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve training materials and delivery

Support the rollout and adoption of the LMS across the organization

Requirements

Proven experience in instructional design, preferably within manufacturing or operational environments

Strong background in digital content creation, including video and e-learning modules

Demonstrated expertise in LMS design, implementation, and optimization

Ability to develop scalable content templates and maintain high standards of quality

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working alongside subject matter experts

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Familiarity with adult learning principles and best practices in training delivery

Proficiency with authoring tools and multimedia content creation software

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
