Van Delivery Drivers

Job&Talent are currently recruiting Van Delivery Drivers for temporary assignments with a company based in Chandlers Ford, Southampton. The role involves delivering convenience foods to shops across the local area.

These positions are temporary and are available to support increased operational demand, subject to business requirements. However, there is the opportunity for a permanent position for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and strong performance.

Pay and Hours

• Starting at £13.60 per hour, up to £15.75 depending on shift timings.
• 5 days a week Monday to Saturday
• 04:00 am to 12:30 or 12:00 to 20.30
• Location: Chandlers Ford, Southampton

As a Van Driver, you will need to have:

• Full UK driver license with B category
• Previous van delivery experience
• No more than 6 points

Role of a Van Driver:

• Mainly delivering trays of chilled sandwiches but can be some fruit and veg - will be loading own vans
• Delivering to garage forecourts like Shell/Waitrose.
• Shifts are around 8 hours long with 30 mins unpaid breaks
• There will be an induction on the first day with buddy day on the second and usually out on an easy run on the third day
• Not traveling huge distances but as far as M25 and Bournemouth.
