HGV Class 1 Driver

Job description

Driver require are seeking an urgent, reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to support a brand new client in Sittingbourne. The role involves the safe and timely delivery of entertainment equipment to sites such as Basingstoke and Bournemouth.

HGV Class 1 Rate of Pay PAYE:

• £19.19 per hour inc holiday Monday-Friday
• £23.23 per hour inc holiday Saturdays/Sundays

HGV Class 1 Job Description

• ASAP START
• Ongoing work every Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday (option to do more during peak)
• Start times from 08:00am
• Transporting equipment to event sites and locations nationwide
• Assisting with loading and unloading where required
• Vehicle checks and basic defect reporting
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and professionalism onsite

HGV Class 1 Candidate Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Available ASAP
• Minimum 2 years LGV1 driving experience
• Valid CPC & Tacho
• Max 6 points, no major endorsements
