Assistant Merchandiser

As the brand continues its impressive growth journey, they're looking for an ambitious Assistant Merchandiser to join their collaborative and fast-paced team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced MAA or AM who loves trading product, analysing performance and influencing commercial decisions within a modern, scaling retail business.

The Role

Working closely with the Head of Merchandising and wider teams across Buying, Design, Ecommerce and Wholesale, you'll play a key role in driving sales, optimising stock and supporting the performance of multiple product categories.

You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy balancing analysis with commercial decision-making and want exposure across a rapidly evolving omnichannel fashion business.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting weekly and seasonal trading analysis across multiple departments

Producing reports, sales analysis and performance insights to support key business decisions

Managing WSSI documents and merchandising reporting

Monitoring stock levels, size performance and allocations to maximise sales opportunities

Supporting stock flow across ecommerce, retail and wholesale channels

Working closely with Buying and Production teams to manage critical paths and launches

Identifying risks and opportunities through trading and customer behaviour analysis

Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Maintaining accurate reporting, forecasting and stock data

What We're Looking For

Previous experience within an Assistant Merchandiser or Merchandising role, ideally within fashion retail

Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail

Advanced Excel skills and confidence interpreting data

Commercial awareness and understanding of customer behaviour

Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

A proactive and solutions-focused mindset

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Experience across ecommerce and retail channels would be highly beneficial

A genuine passion for product, fashion and trading
