HGV Class 2 Driver (Temp-to-Perm)

Our Rochdale based client is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver on a temp-to-perm basis.

This is an urgent requirement, with a view to start as soon as possible following interview and induction.

Role Overview:

• Delivery of steel products to commercial customers across the local and surrounding areas.
• Monday to Friday work.
• 06:00am start times.
• Responsible for timely, safe, and professional deliveries.
• Manual handling may be involved as part of the role.
• Compliance with EU Drivers Hours Rules and Working Time Directive.
• Ensuring vehicle checks and paperwork are completed correctly.

Requirements:

• Category C (Class 2) Licence with a clean driving record.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience is essential.
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused.
• Experience within steel deliveries or a similar environment is desirable.
