Are you an experienced childcare professional looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of children who have experienced trauma and adversity?

We are seeking a compassionate, resilient, and committed Senior Support Worker to join our specialist residential childcare team. This is an opportunity to work within a highly supportive team where relationships, consistency, and positive outcomes are at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role

As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting children to feel safe, valued, and understood. You will lead by example during shifts, support junior staff, and help create a stable and therapeutic home environment where children can thrive.

You will support young people with:

  • Emotional regulation and building trust
  • Daily routines and independent living skills
  • Education, hobbies, and community activities
  • Positive behaviour support
  • Developing healthy relationships and self-esteem

You will also contribute to care planning, safeguarding, recording, and ensuring high standards of care are consistently maintained.

What Were Looking For

Essential requirements:

  • Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience supporting children or young people within residential care, supported living, or similar settings
  • Understanding of trauma-informed practice and safeguarding
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to remain calm, consistent, and supportive in challenging situations
What We Offer
  • Beautiful countryside working environment with extensive outdoor grounds
  • Specialist therapeutic care provision
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Supportive leadership team and career progression opportunities
  • Competitive salary and sleep-in payments
  • Pension scheme and additional employee benefits
  • Opportunity to make a lasting impact in childrens lives
Why Join Us?

The children we support have often experienced significant trauma, instability, and loss. They need adults who are patient, dependable, and genuinely committed to helping them rebuild trust and achieve positive futures.

If you are passionate about providing outstanding care and want to be part of a specialist service that changes lives, we would love to hear from you.

Apply today to start a rewarding career where your support truly matters.
