Millison Chase Limited Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of a professional and growing transport operation specialising in general haulage deliveries throughout the UK.

We are looking for reliable and professional drivers for ongoing full-time work. This role involves completing collections and deliveries of palletised and general haulage goods while maintaining high standards of safety, customer service, and professionalism.

Drivers can expect between 1 and 5 drops per shift depending on route allocation and delivery schedules. Some shifts may be long, so flexibility and a positive working attitude are essential. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 1 Drivers looking for consistent work, competitive PAYE pay rates, and support from a professional transport recruitment team.

Pay & Progression

• £15.50 per hour Monday to Friday
• Up-to £19.00 per hour Weekend shifts
• £25.00 night out allowance (optional night outs)
• Weekly PAYE pay through Millison Chase Limited
• Ongoing full-time work available

Key Responsibilities

• Completing general haulage deliveries and collections throughout the UK
• Carrying out between 1 and 5 drops per shift
• Ensuring all transport paperwork is completed accurately
• Following all drivers hours and tachograph regulations
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Operating vehicles safely and professionally at all times
• Communicating effectively with the transport team and customers

Requirements

• Applicants must have:
• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
• Valid CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Applicants must not have any:
• DR, DD, CU, MS, or TT endorsement codes on their licence
• Drivers should be:
• Reliable and punctual
• Flexible with working hours
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional in appearance and attitude
