HGV CE Class 1 Driver Fresh Produce Day or Night shift

Job description

Millison Chase Limited is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of a professional and growing transport operation specialising in fresh produce distribution throughout the UK.

We are looking for reliable and professional drivers for ongoing full-time work transporting fresh produce from packaging and processing facilities to RDC, NDC, and CDC locations nationwide.

Drivers will play an important role in ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time while maintaining excellent professional standards.

This role typically involves 1 to 2 drops or collections per shift depending on route allocation and scheduling.

Some shifts may be long, so flexibility and a positive working attitude are essential. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 1 Drivers looking for consistent work, competitive PAYE pay rates, and support from a professional transport recruitment team.

Pay & Progression

• £16.00 per hour Monday to Friday Days
• £17.00 per hour - Monday to Friday Nights
• £19.00 per hour Weekend shifts
• Weekly PAYE pay through Millison Chase Limited
• Ongoing full-time work available

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering fresh produce nationwide from packaging and processing facilities
• Completing deliveries and collections to RDC, NDC, and CDC locations
• Carrying out between 1 and 2 drops or collections per shift
• Ensuring all transport paperwork is completed accurately
• Following all drivers hours and tachograph regulations
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Operating vehicles safely and professionally at all times
• Communicating effectively with the transport team and site staff

Requirements

• Applicants must have:
• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
• Valid CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Applicants must not have any:
• DR, DD, CU, MS, or TT endorsement codes on their licence
• Drivers should be:
• Reliable and punctual
• Flexible with working hours
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional in appearance and attitude
