HR ADMINISTRATOR – LONDON

The Opportunity
We are looking for an exceptional candidate to support our Client as HR Administrator to manage the processes of the HR function and to provide proactive support to the Head of HR and the business on various HR projects.
Successful candidates will have around 1-2 years generalist HR or administrative experience gained within a fast paced, professional environment, excellent organisation skills and an ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues across the business.
Key Tasks
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, escalating to HHR as appropriate, as well as external recruiters and other partners.
- Responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the employee life cycle across all entities (e.g. Driving the recruitment process, on-boarding and off-boarding, probation and appraisals, benefits administration, maternity/paternity leave, etc.) ensuring processes run smoothly and accurate records are kept as appropriate.
- Partner with the US PEO (professional employee organisation) to support HR administration and compliance for US entities, ensuring accurate employee records are maintained and local requirements are met.
- Create records and maintain data integrity by creating and updating employee records on the HRIS, including employment details, annual leave, sickness absence, etc., and run reports on this data as required.
- Collate monthly payroll changes across all entities, partnering with external payroll providers and Finance to ensure all changes are accurately processed.
- Proactively support the HHR on a variety of group wide HR matters or projects, from drafting and processing correspondence to reviewing, researching or drafting new policies, benchmarking activities or setting up new benefits.
- Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices as applicable in the UK and monitor developments in this area for our non-UK entities, ensuring policies and procedures remain compliant.
- Ad-hoc tasks as may be required from time to time.
Skills and Requirements
- Degree educated; CIPD qualified or working towards would be an advantage
- Basic knowledge across the full HR remit gained from 1-2 years working in a similar role preferred
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism at all times
- Excellent time management and organisation skills, ability to work at pace with high attention to detail and minimal supervision or prompting within a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with employees about sensitive matters with tact and empathy
- Team oriented, with a flexible approach, good work ethic and professionalism
- Good command of MS Office (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint in particular) and ideally some experience of working with an HRIS
