The Opportunity


This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in medical communications. As an Account Executive, you’ll support the delivery of client projects and gain hands-on experience across a variety of accounts. Working closely with senior team members, you’ll take on increasing responsibility, develop client-facing skills, and build a strong foundation to progress to Senior Account Executive.


  • Be part of a dynamic team of 25 account handlers and editorial specialists; specifically supporting the client services team
  • Take on supporting tasks for key accounts - therapy areas include: infectious diseases, rare diseases, cardiology, diabetes, women’s health, OTC brands, and consumer health.
  • Begin to Build strong, professional relationships with clients and external experts



What You’ll Do


Account & project support

  • Coordinate logistics for meetings and events, including delegate management
  • Support the delivery of projects, ensuring timelines and processes are met
  • Coordinate artwork jobs and track progress
  • Prepare and track contracts and key documentation
  • Organise meetings, take minutes, and maintain status reports

Planning & organisation

  • Assist with project timelines and scheduling
  • Contribute to budget tracking and project planning
  • Manage your workload effectively to meet deadlines

Client engagement

  • Build strong, professional relationships with clients and external experts
  • Support communications with clarity and attention to detail
  • Attend client meetings (including on-site where required)

Quality & compliance

  • Ensure all work aligns with internal processes and compliance guidelines
  • Escalate queries appropriately to maintain high standards

Team contribution

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver excellent client service
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive team environment
  • Share information and support colleagues where needed



What We’re Looking For


  • Some experience in medical communications, healthcare PR, or scientific event management (preferred)
  • Ideally a science degree (or relevant qualification) or a strong interest in healthcare communications.
  • Proactive, organised, and eager to learn and with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A strong team player with a collaborative approach
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing deadlines
  • Committed to delivering high-quality work and excellent client service
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
