Oxbridge Graduate Opportunities | Maths, English & Science | Hackney | September 2026 Start Are you graduating from Oxford or Cambridge with a degree in Maths, English or Science and looking to gain meaningful school-based experience before pursuing your next career step? Secondary schools across Hackney are seeking exceptional Oxbridge graduates to support students across KS3 and KS4 from September 2026 on full-time, long-term contracts until July 2027. These opportunities are ideal for academically strong individuals considering teaching, educational leadership or wider graduate pathways where communication, mentoring and analytical skills are highly valued. Schools are particularly interested in graduates who can bring subject expertise, confidence and academic ambition into the classroom environment. Oxbridge Graduate Opportunities – What You’ll Be Doing • Delivering targeted 1:1 and small-group intervention sessions in Maths, English or Science • Supporting pupils preparing for GCSE examinations and closing gaps in understanding • Working alongside experienced teachers and subject leaders within high-performing departments • Encouraging confidence, engagement and strong independent study habits • Supporting both academic progress and wider pupil development across KS3 and KS4 What Schools Can Offer • Full-time experience within supportive secondary school settings • Weekly pay of £444–£513 via PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay) • Ongoing CPD focused on behaviour, pedagogy and classroom practice • Opportunities to observe experienced practitioners and intervention specialists • Clear routes into future teacher training and long-term education careers Candidate Requirements • Oxford or Cambridge graduate (or finalist) with a predicted or achieved 2:1 or First-Class degree in Maths, English or Science • Strong academic profile and excellent communication skills • Genuine interest in education and supporting young people • Previous tutoring, mentoring or child-centred experience is beneficial but not essential Ribbons & Reeves are London’s leading Education Recruiters.
