Care Assistant

Job description

Full Time Role working 3 on 3 off rotation.

Responsibilities

Work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse to support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents.

Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, hygiene and meals.

Assist with daily activities in the home.

Deliver compassionate care that respects each resident's individuality and supports those with limited mobility, distress or end‐of‐life needs.

Identify signs of abuse, harm or neglect and undertake safeguarding training appropriate to your role.

Seek appropriate advice and report concerns, escalating when necessary.

Qualifications

Ability to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and to act appropriately.

Completion of safeguarding training and willingness to undertake additional training as required.

Comfortable with technology or open to learning digital care‐planning tools.

Full right to work in the United Kingdom.

Commitment to a compassionate and person‐centred approach to care.
