HGV Class 1 Driver

Job description

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers on behalf of a well-known and industry-leading logistics client based in Warrington.

The Role

• Trunking trailers for major parcel delivery companies
• Routes mainly covering:
  • Northwest to Nuneaton/Rugby
  • Northwest to Dundee
  • Other UK trunking routes as required
• Average 11-hour shifts
• Flexible start times
• Working as part of a 24/7 operation across Monday to Sunday (5 days a week)
• Maintaining professionalism and high safety standards at all times

Pay & Benefits

• £42,821.49 annual salary
• up to £45,000 per year with overtime

Requirements

• Full UK HGV Class 1 licence (Category C+E)
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• 6 months Class 1 experience preferred
• Drivers with a minimum of 6 months experience can attend an assessment
• Maximum 6 penalty points for minor offences only
• Good understanding of WTD legislation
• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused
• Excellent communication skills

Assessment Required

All drivers must complete and pass a driving assessment prior to starting.
