HGV Class 1 Driver

Job description

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Tuxford area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class1 Drivers(CAT C+E) to join the team.

Hours:Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, 07:30am starts (average finish 6-7pm)

Pay Rates:

• Class 1PAYE: £15.77perhour

• Class 1Rolled Up: £17.67 per hour

• Class 1 ADR PAYE: £16.80 per hour

• Class 1 ADR Rolled Up: £18.83 per hour

Location:Tuxford, NG22

Job Type:Ongoing with the potential for perm contract for the right candidate.

The role:

• General haulage palletised goods (no food)

• Curtainsiders, tail lift & pump truck use

• Delivering to both commercial and residential properties (up to20drops/collections)

• Completing all relevant paperwork and following site procedures

• Ensuring safe handling of goods andmaintaininghigh driving standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years Class 1 (C+E) driving experience

• ADR Packages licence preferred but not essential

• Must be 25+ (insurance purposes).

• Maximum 6 points no DD/DR/IN endorsements.

• Full understanding of WTD legislation.

• Strong communication& customer service skills.

• Happy with both commercial and residential deliveries.
