Express Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading professional services organisation in their search for a proactive and commercially minded Account Manager to join their growing Nottingham-based team.


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Account Manager, Business Development Executive, Client Manager, or Customer Success professional who enjoys building long-term partnerships and delivering exceptional client service. You'll take ownership of an established portfolio of clients, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure service excellence whilst identifying opportunities for growth and strengthening existing relationships.

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Build, manage, and develop strong relationships with key decision-makers across an allocated client portfolio
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve service delivery, and maximise client retention
  • Manage client pipelines and provide accurate forecasting and activity updates to senior management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client queries, concerns, and service-related matters, ensuring timely and effective resolution
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure service delivery expectations are met whilst identifying opportunities for cross-selling additional services


Skills & Experience


  • Previous experience within an Account Management, Business Development, Customer Success, Client Relationship Management, or Sales role
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Results-driven mindset with experience working towards targets, KPIs, and performance objectives
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; previous CRM system experience would be advantageous

Vacancy Summary

Salary: c£40,000 plus quarterly bonus
