Trainee Manager (Kitchen / Front of House)

Location: Bigbury-on-Sea, Nr Kingsbridge
Working Hours: Full-time average of 40 hours per week over a year, including weekend and holiday period availability
Salary: Starting at £30,000 plus bonus

Theyre looking for a full-time Team Member to join their busy beach café in Bigbury-on-Sea.

This is a hands-on role, primarily working in the kitchen with some front-of-house duties. Youll be part of a friendly, fast-paced team delivering great food and great service in a unique coastal setting.

This is a year-round position with stable hours, ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, wants to learn new skills, and likes working as part of a close-knit team.

The Role

• Work primarily within the kitchen, with some front of house duties as required
• Support the daily running of a busy beach café
• Assist with food preparation and service
• Follow Company standards, recipes and procedures
• Support the management team in administrative tasks including cashing up and ordering
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times
• Work effectively as part of a busy team
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Follow company processes and training provided

Requirements

Essential

• Must be available for weekend work and holiday periods
• Enjoy working as part of a busy team
• Willingness to learn
• Likes food and keen on provenance
• Must be keen on sustainability and want to make a difference

Desirable

• Previous hospitality or retail experience
