Part Time HR Administrator – HYBRID
Location: Edinburgh City Centre
Start: ASAP
Duration: Initially 3 months with the potential to be extended
Rate: 15 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week across 4‐5 days
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an organised, adaptable, and confident HR Administrator to join a busy and fast paced team. This role is ideal for an experienced administrator who thrives on managing multiple priorities and enjoys working within a dynamic environment.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting a high volume HR function, acting as a central point of coordination across a range of administrative and people related processes. This is a varied role offering exposure to recruitment, systems support, and employee lifecycle administration.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and monitoring shared HR inboxes
Responding to queries and escalating where necessary
Supporting end to end recruitment administration including:
Advertising vacancies
Issuing offers
Coordinating pre‐employment checks
Onboarding new starters
Maintaining recruitment trackers and updating HR systems
Acting as a first point of contact for HR queries
Supporting the implementation of a new HR system
Maintaining accurate employee records and documentation
Assisting with HR process improvements and guidance documentation
Supporting coordination and tracking of training activity
About You
Proven administrative experience in a fast paced environment
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
Comfortable using Microsoft Office
Experience working across databases and systems
Resilient, adaptable, and a quick learner
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Discreet and professional when handling confidential information
Previous HR experience is desirable but not essential
