Overview

We’re looking for an Asset & Liability Management (ALM) Specialist to join our team in London. You’ll use cutting-edge tools and in-house software to help our clients’ investments meet their needs. This is a chance to make a real difference by designing solutions that reduce risk and improve returns.


How you'll make an impact

  • Model asset classes like equities, bonds, credit, derivatives, hedge funds, and alternatives.
  • Design and implement capital market and liability-driven investment (LDI) solutions.
  • Evaluate risks in pension funds and institutional investor portfolios.
  • Stay on top of market trends and key developments.
  • Work closely with investment consultants to deliver tailored advice.
  • Plan projects, discuss approaches, and provide fee recommendations.
  • Develop ongoing investment strategies that align with client goals and market changes.

About You

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Are a CFA Charter holder, FIA/AIA, or working towards these qualifications.
  • Have 5–8 years of experience in investment consultancy or life insurance.
  • Are passionate about financial markets.
  • Have experience modelling asset classes or pension fund liabilities.
  • Are analytical and enjoy challenging assumptions.
  • Pay attention to detail and deliver high-quality work.
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team.

It’s a plus if you:

  • Have experience with actuarial longevity or mortality modelling.
  • Have research experience, whether academic or practitioner-led.
  • Are curious and love experimenting with new ideas.
  • Learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
  • Have a hands-on approach and a collaborative mindset.

Location

This role is based in London. Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK.
