Amazon Account Manager
Fully Remote.
Salary: £40,000 per annum.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Amazon Account Manager to join our growing eCommerce team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about marketplaces and wants to play a key role in helping consumer brands accelerate their growth on Amazon.
As an Amazon Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of brands, developing strategic growth plans, and delivering exceptional client service. Acting as a trusted extension of your clients' teams, you will oversee all aspects of Amazon performance, from commercial planning and operational excellence through to content, advertising collaboration, and marketplace growth initiatives.
Working alongside specialists across retail, advertising, content, and operations, you will help brands maximise sales, profitability, and long term success across Amazon marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Manage a portfolio of Amazon accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders and develop a deep understanding of each client's business objectives.
- Lead regular business reviews, performance reporting, and strategic planning sessions.
- Deliver outstanding client service and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
Amazon Growth & Strategy
- Develop and execute Amazon growth strategies tailored to each brand's objectives.
- Identify opportunities across assortment, pricing, promotions, content, advertising, and operational performance.
- Build annual plans and support forecasting, budgeting, and promotional calendars.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and Amazon programme updates to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Marketplace Management
- Manage day to day activity across Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central accounts.
- Oversee catalogue management, content optimisation, inventory performance, and account health.
- Support product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal trading events.
- Troubleshoot operational, retail, and catalogue issues, working proactively to resolve challenges.
Commercial Performance & Analysis
- Analyse sales, traffic, conversion, profitability, and operational performance metrics.
- Deliver insightful reporting with clear recommendations and actions.
- Monitor performance against KPIs and growth targets.
- Support the identification of additional growth opportunities and value added services for clients.
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal advertising, content, creative, and operations teams to deliver integrated marketplace strategies.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned to client objectives.
- Contribute to agency initiatives, process improvements, and best practice development.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Minimum 2 years' experience managing Amazon accounts, ideally within an agency environment
- Strong knowledge of Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central.
- Experience developing and executing Amazon growth strategies.
- Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of Amazon performance drivers.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience presenting performance insights and recommendations to clients.
- Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
Desirable
- Experience working within an Amazon or eCommerce agency.
- Knowledge of Amazon Advertising and retail media.
- Experience across international Amazon marketplaces.
- Familiarity with additional marketplaces such as eBay, Walmart, Wayfair, Tesco, B&Q, or Very.
- Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.
- Degree educated or equivalent commercial experience.
