HGV Class 1 Driver Brake Tester

Job description

We are currently seeking a HGV Class 1 experienced driver to join our clients Service Department team based in Reading.

Shift -

6:00pm to 03:00am Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections on HGV vehicles.

Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.

Perform tests using a HGV roller brake tester machine to check and ensure all the brakes meet DVSA standards for all vehicle booked in for repairs, MOTs etc. (Full training to be given) This role will be onsite but on the odd occasion you might be asked to road test or deliver a vehicle if required.

Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Provide assistance and support to other members of the workshop team as required.

Pay Rate:

£22.00ph (Rate inclusive of Holiday)

Paid Weekly.

What were looking for..

• Full valid driving license HGV Class 1.
• MOT tester (advantage but not essential)
• Ability to pass CRB Check.
• No More than 6 points.
• No DR/DG/IN endorsements.
