We are currently recruiting Contact Workers / Social Work Assistants for a range of NHS Social Work teams across the Northern Trust area, including: Ballymena Antrim Magherafelt Newtownabbey Ballymoney Coleraine Additional locations may also become available. These are temporary ongoing positions with immediate starts available and a minimum expected duration of 3 months. As a contracted supplier to the NHS, we can offer flexible placements based on your preferred office location. Hours & Pay Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm preferred Part-time hours may also be available £14.06 per hour plus overtime rates Weekly mileage allowance paid About the Role Working alongside Qualified Social Workers, successful candidates will support a variety of service users depending on the team placement, including: Children and families Older people Mental health services Young people and vulnerable adults These roles are ideal for individuals currently studying Social Work or those looking to gain valuable experience within the sector. Essential Criteria Applicants should have: A minimum of 6 months experience in a care-related setting such as: Schools Childcare Youth work Care assistant/support work A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a care-related subject NISCC registration A full UK driving licence with access to a car and business insurance Travel is essential for these positions. An Enhanced Access NI check will be completed before employment commences.
